nascar racing 2003 servers closing so EA can get their grubby paws on your monies (and take over the nascar server world too)

According to here, at least, it looks like the Papyrus game NASCAR Racing 2003 servers are closing… no more taking that Logitech racing wheel out and racing a few laps at 6 in the moring against total noobs. The public servers being canned is like Milton Waddams being moved to the basement in Office Space.

The downloadable content on NR2003 owns all of your asses. At least we can still host our own servers. Also, just to show how shitty EA’s NASCAR 08 looks, let’s compare youtubes, because we all like visuals.

Apparently, most of EA’s NASCAR developers don’t give a shit about NASCAR, and their attempt at NASCAR. Yeah, they did get some things right, like the pull of the car to the left side (since the cars really only turn left… hah), and the physics of the player car is a lot better, the cars and tracks look pretty decent, but there is a lot wrong.. it is pretty glitchy, cars don’t dig into the ground or walls when they wreck, the AI completely blows.. Now, all of the local churches here are having NASCAR 08 tournament. They should play Gears of War or something.

N2003 easily has the best physics, the crashes look funny sometimes but yeah. Easily the better game even after 4 years.
